My taste of urban parks

When we are little kids, we usually get accompanied by an adult like our parents or other when we get outside our house and visit other places like a cinema, parts of the city, a commercial centre, an airport or whatever. So that, when my mom used to hang out through Santiago with me on her car, I always looked at San Cristobal hill and that place started to impress me with its massive presence of vegetation until the highest peak, where the virgin lies, that was my initial contact with an example of a huge urban park and so I wanted to visit some place like it when I reached an older age so I could walk through the city alone. Analyzing the current times, the fact of visiting many parks is one of my favorite activities not only in cities but also on other natural places that have lots of other flora and fauna species that you can't see on a loud and polluted area as Santiago, but that doesn't mean that the capital city does not have many parks with a good standard of equipment and ecosystemic services that helps not only people in topics like their health or activities, but also has many other functions like regulation of temperatures, caption and filtration of water or moisture, fertility and quality of soils, provision of an environment for many species as well as other functions that may sustain a well working ecosystem. Try to visit as many parks as possible, it is the main way to take advantage of their usefull services so the respective authorities can manage this kind of places as good as possible.
